Our farmhouse La Forra is located on a hilltop and surrounded by the natural beauty of vineyards and olive groves, typical of the Tuscan landscape.  There are also  forests of oak, chestnuts and pine trees.
The convenient geographical location allows you to reach the most famous art cities in less than one hour: Florence and Arezzo can be reached in 40 minutes, Siena and San Gimignano in about an hour.

The farmhouse is representative of Tuscan traditions thanks to its ongoing relationship with breeding and agriculture: In order to keep these traditions alive we live in connection with the surrounding nature and animals.
It is the ideal place for those who are seeking profound peace and quietness, combined with a warm and refined atmosphere within an unspoilt countryside.

Ernesto and his wife Carolina are the owners of La Forra and Podere Vecciale. It has been in their family for generations.
Ernesto spends most of his time taking care of this treasure, dealing with agriculture and breeding cattle, which are both great personal passions of his.
Carolina carefully arranged the interiors, selecting furniture with the charm of ancient farmhouse typical of this region. Since 2016 she has been in charge of the restaurant choosing the best products from local producers.

L'Associazione Dimensione Maremma has been working with cows and horses for the most renowned equestrian shows in Italy and Europe through years.

The Association aims to promote a slower life style, listening to the rhythm of nature as a central focus of our existance.

Moira is equestrian guide and trainer. With her horse, Florence, she will accompany you through beautiful horse riding trips around the Chianti hills.

Valerio is the farmer and estate manager. He has been part of the team from the very beginning and knows the farm like the back of his hand. He is responsible for the breeding programme, the olive groves and for the production of our organic olive oil.

Mauro is our discreet gardener who takes care of all the exterior space of the Farm.

Patrizia handles bookings and she is the first point of contact for guests before and during your stay.
You will find her at the reception for any information or tips about the surrounding area. She will help you have the best experience possible.  Her direct contact with guests guarantees the quality of the services we provide.

Samantha is the key holder and will accompany you to your lodging. She takes care of external services when operating on site (the cleaning company, the electrician or other workers), as well as providing small extra services requested by our guests.

Patrizio  is the head waiter at La Cucina de la Forra. He welcomes customers and, using his  extensive experience in the restaurant business, guides them through the menu and list of wines.
